French-door is the most-requested style in our Columbus showroom, and it's where the deepest discounts usually show up. Customers walk in expecting to pay $2,200–$3,000 for a premium model and walk out spending $999–$1,499 on the same brand and capacity.

Samsung's RF and LG's LR-series french-door fridges with smart cooling, dual ice makers and FlexZone drawers are common arrivals. We also stock GE Profile, Whirlpool and KitchenAid french-door units, both standard-depth (around 36" deep) and counter-depth (around 28" deep) for a built-in look.

Counter-depth is the upgrade most kitchen designers push because it sits flush with the cabinets — but it normally costs a premium. As an outlet, we frequently have scratch & dent counter-depth french-doors priced below standard-depth retail, which is the single best value in the showroom.

Side-by-side fridges remain popular because they put both fresh and frozen food at eye level and fit through narrower kitchen doorways. We discount Samsung, LG, Whirlpool, Frigidaire and GE side-by-sides, most with in-door ice and water, often 30–60 % below MSRP.

Top-freezer fridges are the budget workhorse — perfect for rental properties, garages and basement kitchens. We typically have 28" to 33" wide top-freezers from $399 and up, brand-new and open-box, including units that retail for $899 at the big-box stores.

Bottom-freezer and compact models round out the lineup. Bottom-freezer puts the fresh food at eye level without the price jump of french-door. Compact and counter-height fridges are great for offices, dorms, bars and small apartments.

Cosmetic damage on a refrigerator usually looks worse in writing than in person. A typical scratch & dent unit has a small dent on a side panel that faces a wall, a minor ding on the top (hidden once installed), or a light scratch on a door that often polishes out. The interior, compressor, sealed system, controls and warranty are unchanged.

Every blemish on our floor is tagged and visible. Our staff will physically show you the imperfection, explain exactly what's wrong, and pull the serial number so you can verify manufacturer warranty status before you commit. There are no "mystery box" surprises.

Open-box units are a step up — these are returns or display models that are essentially new, just no longer in original packaging. They tend to be 20–40 % off MSRP with full manufacturer warranty.

Picking up is free from our 4664 Cleveland Ave showroom. We help load into pickups, vans, SUVs and trailers — most full-size french-door fridges fit in a standard pickup once the doors are removed (we'll do that for you).

Measure the cabinet opening width, depth and height — and the doorway the fridge has to come through to get there. Most standard openings are 33" or 36" wide. Add at least an inch of side clearance for door swing on french-door and side-by-side models.

For capacity, plan roughly 4–6 cubic feet per adult in the household, plus 2 cubic feet per child. A family of four is comfortable in a 22–25 cu ft fridge; a couple often does fine with 18–20 cu ft.

Counter-depth models trade about 4–6 cubic feet of interior space for a built-in look. If kitchen aesthetics matter, the trade is usually worth it; if maximum food storage is the priority, standard-depth is the better buy.
